This British-born urban lifestyle label originated in Manchester in the late-eighties as a t-shirt brand inspired by the worlds of skatebarding and BMX biking.
As the ‘Madchester’ scene kicked off in the early nineties, Bench’s reputation as an innovative brand meant that it was well-placed at the heart of the explosion and it is this innovation that has carried it through the subsequent two decades.
The label is now one of the UK’s most respected urban clothing labels and won the Coolbrands ‘coolest streetwear brand’s of 2007/8.
